Are you ready to shake off the snow for good this year? There’s no better place to kick off your motorcycle-riding season than Arizona Bike Week 2014. Warm sunny rides through canyons and deserts dotted with cactus will make you forget all about the rough winter we all endured.
Arizona brings you all the best the biker life has to offer this spring when Arizona Bike Week presented by Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale, begins today, April 2nd. Last year, there were record 70,000 motorcyclists representing every make and model at ABW, and even more are expected this year. Added to more music, more vendors, more entertainment, and more rides, this year promises to be the biggest event yet.
Festival-goers can start by camping on-site in their tent or RV, so they don’t have to miss a moment of the action.
Musical acts scheduled to perform in the RockYard include, 74th Street Band, Aaron Lewis, Big and Rich, School of Rock Sugar Skulls, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Pete Cummings Band, Trailer Park, ZZ Top, and Don’t Look Back, the amazing Boston cover band, among others.
Several different rides, offering a variety of amenities, such as breakfast, lunch, prizes, t-shirts and pins are scheduled for the week. For a small entrance fee, riders can pre-register and participate in such rides as, the 2nd Annual Tillman’s Ride, Peace Out, Prostate Cancer, Helping with Horsepower Ride and Drive, and many more.
Visit displays and shop the wares of any one of the hundreds of vendors at ABW. Vendors will be representing radio stations, biker legal services, biker clothing, jewelry and accessories, motorcycle manufacturers and dealerships, and so much more.
You can get your thrills at one of the many performances of the FMX Motocross Extreme Stunt Show, the Busted Knuckles Tour V-Twin Thrill Show, or a factory demo ride sponsored by Harley-Davidson, Kawasaki, Yamaha, and others.
Take in beauty pageants, comedy shows, tattoo contests, a special appearance by Jack Estes, this year’s ABW True Hero, and appearances by Sons of Anarchy stars, Kim Coates and Tommy Flanagan.
