Myrtle Beach Bike Week – May 13 – 22, 2011
According to the ‘Weather Man’, actually weather.com, it looks as though the storms are soon to pass and summer should start. We have been inundated with bad weather on the East Coast and it’s time to dry off the motorcycle and head to the biggest motorcycle event in the Carolina’s, Myrtle Beach Bike Week in Grand Strand South Carolina.
This infamous rally is known as “Myrtle Beach Bike Week” or “Myrtle Beach Fall Rally” but this year it will be promoted as “THE GRAND STRAND BIKE RALLY!”.
Myrtle Beach City Council announced in 2008 that it would no longer host motorcycle rallies, and approved a set of ordinances on September 23, 2008 in hopes of killing Black Bike Week. 15 laws came into affect including helmet laws, noise ordinances etc etc. Some of these have been defeated in court. Due to this ‘selective tourism’ move on behalf of Myrtle Beach City Council, many of the rallies events have moved to more biker friendlier locations like Grand Strand.
BAM, Free Breakdown and Legal Assistance for Motorcyclists Nationwide, will be at the Rally giving away the free, BAM Benefit Card. You should not be on the road without this. It is an emergency service for motorcyclists who are stranded on the road or who need legal assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The BAM Benefit Card is a gift to bikers from motorcycle lawyer Russ Brown, of Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys®. Russ, himself a motorcycle enthusiast, created the program over 30 years ago as a way to give back to the biker community.
Russ Brown and his partners, Chuck Koro & Jim Romag will be celebrating this incredible milestone with a private VIP party at the infamous Buffalo Chip in Sturgis South Dakota this summer. 85 lucky BAM members will win passes to the VIP party that will take place in the Top Shelf Lounge on Tuesday August 9, 2011. Performing on the ‘Main Stage’ that night are Toby Keith and Poison and those lucky BAM members in the Top Shelf Lounge will have the best views of the stage.
Stop by the BAM Booth during the Myrtle Beach Bike Rally (Grand Strand) and sign up today, go to http://www.russbrown.com or call 1-800-4-BIKERS. Make sure to tell your BAM rep you are headed to Sturgis, SD, this summer.
Approximately 300 000 motorcyclists head to South Carolina for the rally and if the ‘Weather Man’ is accurate, bikers will be out in huge numbers and it could be the largest turnout on record. If you are injured in a motorcycle accident call the motorcycle attorneys who ride and win, Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys®, 1-800-4-BIKERS
