Happy 4th of July – Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys®

Another Fourth of July has come and gone. The weather in Los Angeles, California, has been great and that did not change for this holiday weekend. I live in the Woodland Hills, CA area and we normally get very hot weather and it has been sitting in the lower 80’s with a nice breeze. Perfect. The 4th of July weekend has been perfect for getting out on the motorcycle and thought not much is going on today in regards to rallies but there are still the usual hot spots for us motorcycle lovers we can hit. Cooks Corners in Trabuco Canyon, Orange County will be hopping and our BAM Man Dave will be there so you can also sign up for the BAM program of Bikers Helping Bikers®. BAM is Free Breakdown and Legal Assistance for Motorcyclists. A volunteer network of members such as yourself lending a helping hand if a fellow member breaks down in your zip code. It’s also legal assistance. We have some of the best motorcycle lawyers in the US and they are ready to help you. BAM is 24-7, 7 days a week and Nationwide. Our BAM team will also be at the infamous Rock Store in the Los Angeles, CA area. The Rock Store is a major stop along a beautiful ride in the hills of Malibu and Agoura. If your lucky you may see Jay Leno pull up on his motorcycle or one of his collector cars. Motorcycle Attorney Russ Brown is always at the Rock Store and always willing to listen if you need to talk to him. And in the San Francisco Bay area we will have Shawn and lovely Rebecca at Alice’s Restaurant in Woodside.
In general news for this long weekend still making the headlines is the BP oil spill. It was bumped off the headlines on http://www.cnn.com/ by “Your Pics For Favorite Picnic Food” which tells me not much is happening in the world which is a good thing. What did make headlines this weekend? “Parade Horses Bolt Killing Woman” in Iowa (awful tragedy) and Controversy Erupts At Annual Hot Dog Eating Championship in New York, NY. It’s an interesting world.
I am waiting for the motorcycle accidents news to explode though I hope it doesn’t. Yesterday as I reported is the deadliest day on the road but so far my Google News Alerts have been quiet. A retired police officer was killed in Oakland. Larry Violette was a retired Maine Police Officer. He was riding in Oakland when he lost control of his Harley and hit a guardrail. He was not wearing a helmet. A Cape Girardeau woman suffered moderate injuries Sunday following a motorcycle accident in Ste. Genevieve County, Mo. There was a fatal motorcycle accident in West Warwick, New England, Michigan State Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash involving a motorcycle in Jackson County’s Hanover Township. In New York Old Forge Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident. And in Clark County Washington, two people died in a car-motorcycle accident. In California a Vacaville resident involved in a solo motorcycle accident Saturday evening in Fairfield died from his injuries, California Highway Patrol officials said. In sad news from Denver, a Boulder High School graduate known for his athletic skill was killed in a late-night motorcycle accident in north Boulder on Saturday. And another in Washington State involving a deer. Olalla, Washington, a couple were driving on the road when a deer jumped the guardrail and hit them causing this Washington motorcycle accident.
Our prayers go out to all the loved ones who were affected by the motorcycle accidents this weekend.
