Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys®: It is an honor to have the platform to spotlight such amazing women riders.
Motorcycling has given me the opportunity to cross paths with some of the most amazing people on the planet.  Ms. Paula Williams is no exception. Seeing her 5’2” frame gliding in on her 876lb Electra Glide Classic with ease and grace is such an inspiration only overshadowed by her love of motorcycling.

When did you start riding and what got you involved in motorcycles?
I started riding my own Street Motorcycle in 1992.  I was raised around Harley-Davidson motorcycles and when my Mom started riding her own in order to share this passion with my Dad (Paul) at the young age of 46, shortly thereafter she surprised me with a used starter bike and I cruised onwards in my motorcycling passion from there!
How has riding motorcycles impacted your life?
In too many ways to list!   It is a passion that I share deeply with my wonderful husband, Joe and Father, Paul!  We have spent so many hours on these fine machines and the precious memories that each ride delivers is another chapter in our lives worth revisiting over and over!  I have met some of the most wonderful, compassionate motorcyclist while riding across country to where there isn’t a destination that I ride to that I don’t ride up onto one of those same riders that I had met in the past along these great roads in this wonderful country that we live in!  Motorcycling is an “Elite Fraternity” that only those that ride can understand!
What has been your biggest challenge with riding?
Arriving safely to a chosen destination as I live in one of the busiest traffic infested cities in the State of California
When you’re not riding motorcycles what are you other interest?
I enjoy camping with my husband and spending time with my Quarter Horse – Mercedes.
What advice do you have for other women riders?
If you have a dream of riding your own motorcycle just reach up for the throttle and HAVE IT!
“This photo below is when I rode 2,222 miles one way from SD to Milwaukee, WI in 2010! I won longest distance Lady Rider at the Rider’s Edge CIW this year!!! It was FUN cruising across America with one of my lady Riders Edge Coach I had with me!”

How is riding therapy for you?
In 2011 my Medical Doctor delivered the most scariest life changing news to me and although unsure of the report that I would receive in the end, the fact I had the best of both worlds at this point in my life, my extremely compassionate supportive husband, Joe, and our shared passion of rumbling down the road on our Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, took the fear away of the unknown just having that throttle reach away to keep me going forward on a road to positivity!
What modifications have you done to you motorcycle and why?
“I added a Stage 1 kit to allow more throttle response for the numerous cross country road trips and I added loads of chrome accessories.  I enjoy personalizing my “ride” to my personality.  I enjoy the feeling my “ride” gives me each time i throw my leg over the seat!”
What was or has been the most challenging or difficult thing to overcome in the mechanics of riding a motorcycle for you?
Overcoming an accident.  The solution was an easy one though.  Get back on and “RIDE”

My mom and dad,the ones who got me in LOVE with Harley-Davidson

It is truly an honor to share the pavement with you Ms.Williams.
Ride ON!
