Wisconsin Motorcycle Lawyer; When you first buy a Harley Davidson, there is a good chance that your second purchase will be a leather jacket. Leather jackets and Harley Davidsons have been a winning combination since they were first introduced and have become the symbol for “American Cool” (think “Easy Rider” or “The Terminator”). In fact, Harley Davidsons and leather jackets go so well together that the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin is hosting a leather jacket exhibit this summer called “Worn to be Wild: The Black Leather Jacket”.
The Harley Davidson exhibit in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will show visitors the rise of the leather jacket, from the pilots of World War II to today’s popular movies and music videos. The message: if you want to look cool, just don a leather jacket. In fact, throughout the decades, popular American icons from Marlon Brando to James Dean have proven that a little bit of leather goes a long way towards looking cool.
Curators at the Harley Davidson Museum have gathered more than 60 jackets for this incredible display, including Elvis Presley’s JC Penney’s jacket and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s jacket from the “Terminator” movies. The exhibit will run through September 3rd and then it will move on to Seattle.
If you want to see firsthand the relationship between Harley Davidson and leather jackets, look no further than the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota.
