LOVE RIDE BABY!
Sunday, October 21 at Castaic Lake, California. Who’s going?
I wasn’t able to ride last year and I’m thrilled to be rollin’ with the pack this year!
It’s an event I’ve ridden in for years, so I picked up a new 2013 Harley Davidson, meeting up with good people, riding with great ones and looking forward to making memories on two wheels!
Billed as the longest running motorcycle fundraising event in the world, this year’s Love Ride 29 will feature George Thorogood and the Destroyers and Canned Heat. In 28 years the Love Ride has raised over $24 million for charity. This year’s ride will benefit the USO and their veterans’ programs in 160 locations in 27 states.
Great event for a great cause supporting our U.S. troops.
Grand Marshal Jay Leno plus other high profile motorcyclists will lead the pack from Glendale Harley Davidson, while other groups will head out from the other 23 HD Dealerships that are part of the Southern California Harley-Davidson Dealers Association, all arriving a Castaic lake for the trade show, a bike show, a stunt show, a food truck fair, and concerts featuring George Thorogood & the Destroyers, Canned Heat, and the Strawberry Alarm Clock.
It’s great to see more and more women riding their own bikes, along with more women feeling welcomed and comfortable even if they’re not riding but want to enjoy the event. All are welcomed, however you embrace the motorcycle lifestyle and however want to celebrate and support the cause.
Along with enjoying the show, I’ll be hangin’ in the Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys® booth and welcome you to come by and say hello.
The minimum donation for admission is $45 and all motorcycle brands and automobiles are welcome. Advance tickets and limited edition Love Ride 29 merchandise are available at www.LoveRide.org or Harley-Davidson of Glendale at 3717 San Fernando Road in Glendale, California.
Hope to see you there.
