The 29th Annual Love Ride Was a HIT and the Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys® Were a Part of It!
Los Angeles, California; The 29th annual Love Ride was held this past weekend, and bikers raised over $440,000 for charity. This year’s proceeds went to benefit the USO who continues to provide support and services to the many military servicemen and women and their families.
The 4,000 motorcyclists who rode this weekend began their famous ride at the Harley-Davidson in Glendale, California and ended with a party at Castaic Lake. Once again, Tonight Show host Jay Leno was the Grand Marshal and celebrities such as Robert Patrick, Antonio Sabato Jr., and the Sons of Anarchy were in attendance. Motorcyclists started roaring in to Glendale as early as 5:30 a.m., and by 7:30, Strawberry Alarm Clock was performing for the early morning crowd.
Following the ride, at Castaic Lake, participants were treated to mouthwatering food, motorcycle trade shows, vendors and the Love Ride concert headlined by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. His 90 minute set rocked the house with “Bad to the Bone” and songs from his newest album. The weather was perfect and all that were there had a great time!
There was even a Peter Fonda Ride-In Bike Show for interested motorcyclists and there were also prizes given away during the show. One lucky winner even went home with a 2013 Harley Davidson FLS Softail Slim in Black Denim.
The Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys® were one of the official sponsors of this year’s Love Ride 29 and our own Motorcycle Lawyer’s Russ Brown and Chuck Koro were there to participate in the festivities. It was an amazing time and we were proud and honored to be a part of it.
We understand why you ride, because we are motorcyclists too. That’s why Motorcycle Lawyer Russ Brown created BAM, a free roadside and legal assistance program available to motorcyclists 24 hours a day seven days a week. It’s also why we dedicated our entire practice to motorcycle law and to helping injured motorcyclists hurt in motorcycle accidents obtain the compensation they need to fully recover and get back on the road again.
