The Progressive International Motorcycle Shows is rumbling toward Long Beach, California; where the next show on the tour is scheduled for December 6th to 8th at the Long Beach Convention Center.
It can be a little overwhelming once you step inside the doors of the show—the sheer number of displays and booths coax you to head in all different directions all at once. So you will want to give yourself plenty of time to take in everything the show has to offer. The kids will undoubtedly enjoy the Strider Adventure Zone, where they can get first hand riding experience on specially designed bikes. There are numerous aftermarket vendors on the floor who will almost certainly have that certain something you may want that will jazz up your riding experience or improve your bike’s performance. What about the JP Ultimate Bike Builder Contest? With so many options, it is guaranteed, that if you’re into motorcycles at all, there is something for everyone’s taste.
If the more edgy side of riding is up your alley, you’ll definitely want to check out the folks from XDL Street Jam. They will be showcasing their over the top and on the edge style throughout the weekend. Multiple performances are available for your convenience so check them out on Friday at either 5 or 7pm, Saturday 11am, 1, 3 and 6:30pm, and Sunday at 11am, 1 and 3pm.
Shiny new machines with all the latest gadgetry will also be on hand in full force. The Long Beach Progressive International Motorcycle Show has lured in all of the industry’s leading manufacturers—all on hand proudly displaying their 2014 model lineups. Supported by knowledgeable company representatives who be on hand to gladly answer any questions you may have about the models their company manufactures.
Now for the ladies. Companies in the industry have taken note that there are more and more women riders out there and are now delivering a more diverse line of goods for the female segment because they know every rider wants to look good and feel good while they ride. If you are in need of new gear, or upgrades, the Progressive International Motorcycle Show is the place to get all the latest offerings.
Informative seminars and Q&A sessions hosted by some big names are also part of the International Motorcycle Show itinerary. Scott Russell is doing World Champion Q&A on the Progressive Stage of the Friday at 6pm, Saturday at 10:30am and 2:30pm and Sunday at noon. Russell will also take part in a AMA Pro Superbike Panel that features stars such as Josh Hayes, Josh Herrin, Chris Ulrich and Jason Pridmore. That goes on the Saturday at 10am and 3pm. Finally, X-Games gold medal winner and WMX Champion Ashley Fiolek will be at the show on the Saturday for interviews and autographs. You can catch her at 10:30am and 5:10pm.

On Friday, December 6 Indian Motorcycle will reveal a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle it has created to benefit U.S. Armed Forces personnel and their families. In support of Jack Daniel’s ‘Operation Ride Home’ program, Indian pulled the ‘No. 7’ serial number Indian Chief Vintage out of the first 1901 numbered motorcycles from its assembly line and partnered with the talented artists at Klock Werks in Mitchell, SD to create a special motorcycle.
Four-time WMX Pro champion and two-time X Games gold medalist, Ashley Fiolek, will be at the Long Beach Show.
