We may have had a couple days here and there where we could get on our motorcycles, ride and not freeze our asses off but solid signs of summer are everywhere. Now, I am from the North and know that mother nature likes to play with us by giving us one last bitch slap of a snow storm before she lets summer take hold but I am staying positive that winter 2009-2010 is in the past.

I have the privilege of working in the motorcycle industry, I work for the infamous Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys® firm, so I get to hit the motorcycle scene before many. My motorcycle season begins with Daytona Bike Week. I went this year with Roz (she is infamous in her own right and If you have had the honor of meeting her you know what I mean) and Carmella, from New York Rider Magazine. These ladies rock in so many ways. So needless to say Daytona Bike Week was memorable.

Dave Moore, AKA Bam Man, Breakdown and Legal Assistance for Motorcycles, just left Arizona Bike week and is now gunning for the Laughlin River Run. This ride has been going since 1983 and provides some of the best rides, vendors and entertainment of any motorcycle rally. I have friends that go religiously every year from Los Angeles and they tell me it is one legendary rally.  Arizona bike week

Up Next for me is Rolling Thunder in Washington DC Memorial Day Weekend. This rally has special meaning for myself and many other motorcycle riders. It is an incredible ride and I would not miss it.  Close to a million bikers line up at the Pentagon for the ride to the Vietnam War Memorial. If you attend bring your Kleenex. It is hard to watch this event unfold without getting teary eyed. Just an FYI to Roz and Carmella fans – they will both be in attendance this year in Washington and will be with me at the Hyatt, Crystal City Hotel at Reagan National Airport.

And of course our summer lineup cannot be complete without the Sturgis Bike Rally in South Dakota.  The triplets will be in attendance there as well (Roz, Carmella and myself). We will be promoting BAM at the infamous Buffalo Chip Campgrounds and it should be a good time for all in attendance. It is the 70th anniversary of the Sturgis Bike Rally and they are expecting a huge turnout so if you plan on attending get off your ass and book your accommodations as it is going to be one hell of a rally.

There are many great events.  Laughlin River Run , Leesburg Bikefest,  Thunder Beach Spring,  Myrtle Beach, Ride to the Wall, Branson Rally,  Atlantic BikeWeek, Ohio Bike Week,  Americade,  RoT Rally,  Laconia,  Harley Rendezvous,  Bean Blossom Boogie, Little Sturgis. Phil Petersons, Trail of Tears,  Reno Street Vibrations,  Las Vegas BikeWeek, Thunder Beach Fall,  Daytona Biketoberfest, and the Lonestar Rally to name a few.

Have a safe and great riding season!
